The D.S. Wolf Leadership Team

David Wolf, President and CEO
David Wolf founded D.S. Wolf in 1987 and serves as President and CEO. He is widely known in the financial services industry for his tenacity, professionalism and passion for results. Throughout his tenure, David has closed hundreds of searches covering many areas within the financial services world. In both positive and negative economic climates, he has thrived and delivered for his clients. However, the best measure of his success may be the fact that he has worked with most of his clients since D.S. Wolf’s inception.

	Susan Stack, Managing Director and CFO Susan Stack is a Managing Director and the Chief Financial Officer at D.S. Wolf. She is responsible for client management, executing executive searches for D.S. Wolf globally, staff training and development, and overseeing the financial and administration issues of the firm. Susan has been a member of D.S. Wolf from its inception in 1987. Previously she was with the executive search firm MPI Systems, Inc., as a financial search consultant. She began her career with Coopers & Lybrand in New York as an auditor, during which time she obtained her CPA license.
	Jon Friedman, Managing Director and Head of Sales and Marketing Jon Friedman is a Managing Director and Head of Sales and Marketing at D.S. Wolf. He focuses on placing senior professionals with traditional and nontraditional asset managers, corporate and investment banks, private banks and other diversified financial institutions. He additionally advises clients on corporate, business and operational strategies as well as on all human resources-related issues. He has been with D.S. Wolf since 2001 and was previously with the firm from 1994 until 1998. Jon worked at Christian & Timbers from 1998 to 2001 and began his career in equity derivatives trading.
	Gary Obler, Managing Director and COO Gary Obler is a Managing Director and the Chief Operating Officer at D.S. Wolf, serving as a generalist within the financial services arena. He has worked on wide-ranging projects, including placing country directors overseas in emerging markets, recruiting private wealth advisors and placing premium finance professionals in sales, structuring and consultant roles. Gary has a breadth of experience working with many of the top financial services companies in the world. Prior to joining D.S. Wolf, he spent many years in the marketing and advertising industry helping to further develop some of the best known brands in the marketplace in the financial services, manufacturing, retail, packaged goods and service industries.
	Edward A. Merhige, III, Managing Director Ed Merhige is a Managing Director at D.S. Wolf. He focuses on searches in the investment banking, capital markets and private equity areas, working with professionals ranging from the junior associate to managing director/partner level across all geographies. In addition, he has developed a practice area working with Fortune 500 companies looking to hire investment bankers and other finance professionals in corporate development and related roles. Ed has 17 years of experience in executive search in his areas of expertise, most recently as a Managing Director with Resnick Search Group.
	Brett Fait, Director Brett Fait is a Director with D.S. Wolf. He focuses on senior-level executive searches across the financial services arena, with a specialization in private wealth management. Brett began his executive search career in the New York division of Vedior Professional Services, where he worked on a broad array of positions across the banking and fund industry, including corporate finance, financial reporting and analysis, credit risk management and various accounting functions. Previously he worked as an analyst at a global investment bank and at a hedge fund.
	Bob Harris, Director Bob Harris is a Director and an executive recruiter at D.S. Wolf. He is a member of the Global Wealth Management team helping to build out the firm’s mandate nationally. He has over 20 years of experience working in sales and market planning for global companies in numerous areas, including manufacturing, product development and retail. Bob brings a high level of strategic and intellectual capital to the firm and has an incredibly strong aptitude for matching client and candidate objectives, which has ensured successful and solid professional working relationships.
	Katherine Slowinski, Vice President Katherine Slowinski is a Vice President with D.S. Wolf. She focuses on both mid- and senior-level executive searches as a financial services recruiting generalist. In Katherine’s previous roles, she specialized in the recruitment of sales and trading, structuring, debt capital markets and commodities professionals. Prior to being elevated to Vice President and moving into recruiting, Katherine gained extensive global research experience. She began her career at a boutique corporate advisory firm in Los Angeles, working with corporations within the aerospace and defense, industrials, consumer and retail sectors, before relocating to New York to join the capital markets research team at Solomon Page Group.
	Tom Creamer, Vice President Tom Creamer is a Vice President at D.S. Wolf. He focuses on mid- and senior-level executive searches as a financial services generalist. In Tom’s previous roles, he covered a broad range of capital markets searches, including investment banking and sales and trading mandates within fixed income, foreign exchange, commodities, equities and emerging markets. He began his executive search career with Solomon Page Group before joining D.S. Wolf in 2008.
